Challenge yourself. Test yourself. Take some risks in your life.
This may be difficult for all of you because one of the things about graduating from Northwestern is that you can now punch your own ticket. You can take your diploma, and walk off this stage, and go chasing after the big house and the large salary and the nice suits and all the other wonderful things that our money culture says that you should buy.
I hope you don’t stop there. And focusing your life solely on making a buck is useful, it helps you raise a family, but it displays a certain poverty of ambition. It asks too little. I suspect it may leave you unfulfilled.
