I write website copy for organizations and individuals. This includes not only writing but helping to develop a website organizational structure or architecture, identifying images, and optimizing content for SEO and other user considerations. Whether it is refreshing a site for an individual or small business or working with a larger team on an ambitious redesign, I can help elevate your web content. Here are a few of the projects I have worked on:
NYU Langone’s Department of Population Health site was getting redesigned as part of a massive redesign and reorganization of NYU Langone Health’s research and education site. Working with dozens of stakeholders in the offices of communications and the department, I wrote new and edited existing copy for hundreds of pages, worked on a sweeping reorganization of of the site’s information architecture, and helped select images and figure out navigation.
Ambition & Balance, the blog of todo list and remote work communication software app company Doist, needed help migrating articles from several platforms to a redesigned blog on their web page. I edited, optimized for SEO, and formatted images and template of over 100 posts.
City Health Dashboard asked me to re-write copy for the “metrics” section of the website, from academic to lay friendly explanations for target audiences of media, city officials, and local activists, who use the information to make positive health changes in their communities.
